GORGET

The gorget is the most difficult to fit of any armour component. Variables like the slope of the shoulder and the placement of the neck make this a totally custom piece. While not suggested for equestrian sports the gorget makes armour wearing much easier. It holds the pauldrens in place on the shoulders and distributes the weight evenly. It protects the collar bones and the base of the neck. The cuirasse must be modified
to fit a gorget.
