The rigging of the Blankenshield jousting
saddle is designed to fit any size or shape of horse. From pony to Percharon.
The cinch straps lead from the rigging rings directly to the cinch. While
any rigging position is easily possible we strongly suggest a centerfire
rigging position. The cinch behind the pectoral muscles a full hand behind
the front leg rather than on top of the pectoral against the front leg
like in most modern saddles. With a centerfire rigging the front or back
of the saddle will not lift when the rider leans far forward or back.
Extremely important in martial arts.
