First place the metal against the edge
of the anvil with a sharp edge and strike the edge of it with a smallcrosspeen
hammer as illustrated so as to bend down the last half to three quarters
of an inch. This is done along all edges that are to ve rolled.

The piece is then turned over and placed
on the flat of the anvil with the bent edge turned towards the anvil.
It is then struck with the crosspeen hammer so as to make a second bend
outisde of the first bend and in the opposite direction.
